A Son's Sorrow

A son's cry and plea was cast away
Into the perpetual night of pain...
Oh, this night of torment, cloaked in fog, mist and sorrows
There lies a grieving heart, begging the heavens for tomorrow
Let this torture and sadness end, so he may experience love and joy once again!
How much is a son's love worth?
Less than the frozen grains of the wintered earth
Oh, will there be any to take heed to the plea...

Exodus 19:14 - "You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you t o Myself."

In facing their threshold or brink, marching throught the "GATES" out of captivity in Egypt, Israel has to make a leap of faith. If they took the leap of faith, would God come and bear them up on eagle's wings? God comes through for Israel and opens up the Red Sea. He swoops down and picks them up, carrying them on His wings. However...

Luke 17:5 - "The apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith."

When you are praying for faith you are praying to believe. Either you believe or you don't believe. Such a prayer is really based on unbelief, and therefore it will not be answered. Faith comes and increases as we hear and believe the word and put it into practice.

Romans 10:17 - "So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing, by the word of God."

In Romans 10:6-8...

I feel relieved. I feel as if a weight has been taken off of our nation after eight nightmarish years of whatever that was that was un-American which infiltrated and infected our society. People all over the U.S. were saying that they don't recognize this country anymore.

Nonetheless, relief is coming. We have a new president, and he's going to be different from any politician we've had through the years. Christmas for many Americans will be better than in past years,...
