Funny -- I was born and raised in Lexington, and have been living in Arizona since 2010. I'm trying to hurry up and finish a degree at NAU. While I like AZ, and wouldn't mind staying here if an opportunity arose, I'm keeping myself open to outside opportunities. If you do decide on Palm Coast, rent for a year. Give it some time. If and when you do buy, be careful and background check your prospective real estate agent. Florida has very lax standards. I found one agent, Kathleen West who was indicted for felonies for alledgedly stealing drugs during a showing. Charges later dropped because she participated in a diversion program for first time felons but still who wants someone like that in their home? Just be careful.
