Feeling Sad

Posted 08-28-2017 at 08:45 PM by hpygirl40

Tonight, I feel sad. I feel sad for my sister. She has a dog, a black lab she has loved for 18 years. He is getting old, and has a host of medical problems. She wants him to pass peacefully in his sleep, she wishes to be spared from making the decision to put him down.
We are far away from each other physically, but I know this dog. She and I lived together, and I knew him for a long time. I know her love for him, and how she saved a mangy little puppy who walked into her place of employment....

As people in Texas and across the nation deal with a horrible, tragic storm like Hurricane Harvey has become, we've seen the very best in Americans displayed when there's a crisis. Baseball has become secondary to the needs of those who are trying to ride out the storms in Southeast Texas. More on that...
