People's fears about it come and go. My grandma always rambles on about how she needs to move and how they're going to lose all the money invested in their house and yadda yadda. They live in a house on stilts in the hills of portland, though, so they're obviously at more of a risk. There's a website that lets you look up your address to find out the risk for your personal house, too by the way.
