Les Miles At Kansas? Might Be Good For The Big 12

I've heard some co-workers say that this move will be good for the Big 12 Conference. Who would have ever thought that Les Miles would ever be hired as head football coach of the Kansas Jayhawks?

I see that no hands are raised.

Where the university is concerned, this is massive. At a school where basketball is king and football, well, isn't, this just gets Kansas back into respectable territory. Yes, it will be good for the Big 12 over...

Without getting into too much detail as the why's, I just wanted to start keeping a list of all these impressive cold and snowy events.


We all know weather and climate is like a 100 piece puzzle. It will never be just 1 reason something happens. It's a marriage of things. So While I want to mention the melting arctic ice, and the Polar Vortex splits, and the North Atlantic current or blocking, or the Pacific blob, I need to keep this to just when these cold events happen....

A Great Idea To Replace Sears At Frisco's Stonebriar Centre

In a little while, it's going to become an empty building in a big mall. For now, though, it's a lame duck Sears anchor store at Frisco's (Texas) Stonebriar Centre mall. The Sears chain recently closed on a national level after more than 100 years of service, so, now, one by one, stores are closing after they filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy. We'll sure miss all the Kenmore products.

After the closing, where will that building go from here now that the first...
