They could make some extra money releasing them onto the tundra & battling wits with the polar bears.

I'm leery. They might do something else to each other, and in the spring we'd have even more of the pesky rascals.

And Xa'at, with all due respect, Juneau really isn't isn't the last word on liberalism in this state. I can think of a couple of those little towns around Anchorage that rather leave it in the dust in that respect. You should visit; you'd have a blast
Floyd's irrational abject hatred for the majority of Alaskans is very evident in this thread. Whereas Xa'at is far more rational. She wants to keep all the power consolidated in Juneau so the state government can be corrupted further.

It is obvious you have nothing valid to say about the capital move issue, so your gratuitous false fabrications will now be about my person?

OK--someone enlighten me. Admittedly I've been out of the loop lately. Is there a capital move issue? Has someone introduced bill, or what? I've looked online and can't find a thing about it, though that ain't saying much. Will we be voting on this again in the near future?

Oh, buzz off. You couldn't handle the fact that he was able to debunk every single one of your points, so now you're going to personally insult him?
Quite rational.

And Metla, yes, there is a bill in the works that has something to do with moving the capital. It isn't that explicit, but the idea is there.

I'm not really in favor of moving the capital...by the same token, I can see some of Glitch's points given the previous governorship. Murkowski, after all, did spend a lot of time in Camp Juneau.

Linky to that, Xa'at?

There have been misconceptions and debunking on both sides, and I'm unwilling to take as any relation to the gospel truth the word of anyone who who alleges that that the entire Mat-Su is a bedroom community to Anchorage. But then again, they can move the capital to St. Paul for all I really care. The problem with our state government is hardly one of location.

I don't have a link offhand, but I'll see if I can find one.

I care because I know for a fact that if they move the capital out of Juneau, no one will ever pay an iota of attention to Southeast, to the rest of bush Alaska... Anchorage will have all the power and the rest of us can just rot for all they care.
