agree, especially those Asian countries who were not colonized (India the exception)
I know many Northeast Asians who remained single women because they are waiting for their compatriots to date them. if they only opened a little bit to other culture or race, who knows if they are still single or not
That was their choice at the end of the day, and I don't fault them for it. You shouldn't think because more Northeast Asians would rather date someone from their own culture that they are close minded. Northeast Asia isn't the Philippines (which is still mentally colonized, IMO, and no offense meant in it). There's nothing wrong wanting to date within your own culture.

Nope, on latin American TV European features are preferred for the most part whereas Filipinos prefer mestizo features, not the same. Few Europeans settled in the Phillipines and most arrived via Mexico during the colonial era.
actually, the East Asian look is very popular in the Philippines now. A decade or so ago, Filipinos were still watching Latin American telenovelas, now they're watching Korean telenovelas.
