It isn't a fact to him. It isn't his reality. Thus it isn't universal.

It is a FACT, he just cannot see it. Clearly you don't know what reality means.

Reality is the state of things as they actually exist, rather than as they may appear or may be thought to be.

Pretty on point OP.

Proof is the responsibility of those asserting the existence of something, not those denying it.

Without perception, there can be no "reality". Even some of our top scientists believe this.

Cause and effect?

If I punch you in the face and break your nose you feel pain, which equals reality.

Perceptions change over time. Perceptions change according to our age. When we are happy reality seems very different to when we are sad or distressed. Drugs such as LSD can alter our perception of the world. LSD affects the perception of time and space in quite a profound way. Reality has not changed, merely its perception. Perceptions may alter our personal reality, but outside of our perceptions is an objective reality.

Actually, I don't seem to feel pain. Something about my nerve endings.

How can it be objective when it's different for each person? I would suppose you've never heard of Rashomon.

I'm pretty sure your nerve endings would function just fine if I took a chainsaw to your arms.

Sometimes...no wait...every single time you reply you are simply arguing for the sake of it
