One thing that makes Augusta mall so nice. The enclose mall is attached to a 210,000 sq. ft outdoor lifestyle center.

I think the first mall in Georgia to do this is The Mall of Georgia in Buford. I sort of wish the Augusta Mall lifestyle center was more like the one at mall of Georgia, with a main street, USA look. It's kind of generic looking to me. They could have been a bit more creative with the design of it.

Whatever lilmusket.. The Augusta Mall is generic looking. Huh! I've been to Savannah and Columbia, SC malls and none of them look like the Augusta Mall. I will admit that I do love the Columbiana, but haven't been back since the murder there. The last time I was at StoneCrest was back in '07. It's a nice mall. Nothing spectacular except the herds of people that flock to it. Their Perisian was closing despite the massive amout of people. I liked the mall and enjoyed my time their. With all the young kids their, it reminded me of the Regency Mall before the crime.

Augusta mall is definitely not generic looking. It doesn't look like any mall in GA or SC. The outdoor village at the mall is beautiful. The waterfalls & the tons of diffrent people walking around make the atmosphere great. The mall has a children play area and etc.

Best looking mall in Georgia?? I mean everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion.. but I would have to say Lenox, Phipps, Mall of Georgia and Northpoint are more impressive.. but outside of metro Atlanta I would say Augusta Mall is the most impressive in the state.

Not in my opinion. Lenox is the best looking mall in Georgia. Not sure why people are going goo-goo gah gah over getting things like Coach and PF Changs. We've had those for years here.

Augusta mall actually is nearly a clone of Columbia Mall in Columbia, MD. The Rouse Corp, which is headquarted in Columbia, MD developed both malls and followed a very similar plan. The Columbia mall was first though by several years. So Augusta Mall is not really all that unique. Most of The Rouse malls all look very similar to one another. As far as malls go, they tend to be bright and airy, with lots of interior vegetation and large food courts. Since the expansion and renovation of Lenox Mall in the 1990s, it is in my opinion one of the most attractive malls in the US.
