Max Verstappen just got his motorcycle license and bought a Harley. Now he wants to test a MotoGP bike, "But they say no chance. They said absolutely no. They think it's too dangerous. So that's it," the Dutchman revealed.

Red Bull says no to MotoGP test for Verstappen

They are probably correct:

George Rusell, F2 almost-champion and Mercedes junior signed for Williams. Hope the teams gets its crap together, it's sad to see a historic team struggling so much.

Esteban Ocon didn't want to commit for more than a season, so Williams didn't pursue him, and now he'll most likely be test & reserve for Mercedes. I wonder who they'll favor for a factory team seat, him or Rusell?

I know how he feels. I built a model airplane once and United won't let me fly a 747. The Bass Tids!

Seriously, what is Max thinking?

Probably the same thing most 21 year old think: He's indestructible.

At the moment, it looks like another wet practice/qualifying and dry race weekend.

.. and, hey, a better-than-average race, with one person per top team on the podium!

Nice to see Max Verstappen win. Hopefully next year with a Honda power unit they will be competitive on more tracks.

Because Mercedes seemed to be slightly off the pace and he made 3 pit stops, Valtteri Bottas was lapped by the leader......and yet Bottas lapped everybody who finished below him.......”the rest of the field” was lapped at least twice by the leader. What a huge difference in performance.

In Miami, where Liberty Media really wants to have a race, the ABC affiliate, channel 10, didn't broadcast this race and last weeks COTA race. They took it upon themselves to preempt them with other programs.

I listened to the Behind the Grid podcast featuring Jackie Stewart as guest yesterday. I know the guy is a legend but he seemed like a [jerk] at moments to me. He even spoke of himself in third person.
