I have been driving over 20 years now, and even I have not owned some of these things (although I am aware of them all).

Not sure about hand brake or shift knob however, as my 2014 BRZ has both of those.

How about something simple... Like a dipstick. We have 3 cars, only one still has a traditional dipstick.

Drum brakes, although they are still installed from the factory in the rear on some base model cars, will probably be completely phased out in the next 5 years or so.

Car radio antennas. Most are built into the body now.

Still alive, well, and common. There are probably few people who aren't aware of them.

I'm happy to say my car has the hump

Not yet but will eventually go away: Power steering fluid

Another term not used much is a lube and tune up. Cars don't need lube anymore and a tune up is too generic these days. Nothing really to adjust or "tune up"

Three on the floor.
Semi-automatic transmissions (DeSoto).
AM radios.
package shelf speaker kits.
Hand-crank windows (still around, but not common)
Room to mount under-dash accessories (tape player, CB, ham radios, etc.)
REAL station wagons (Olds Vista Cruiser, etc.)
Overdrive manual transmissions with the pull handle for the overdrive.
I, too, wish the designers had kept the "wing windows" (vent windows)!
