If he is blaming Gasol, then it is rightfully so. Gasol was a disaster last night

That last pass from Pau, backward with no look to Blake that caused the turnover was the most stupid move ever. He had a straight path to the hoop for someone his size. He needs to grow a pair.

while gasol isnt playing great, he is shooting a higher % then kobe, but taking half as many shots. he is averaging twice as many rebounds and only 1 less assist then kobe in the playoffs.

kobe is taking almost 2 more shots per game while pau is taking 3 shots less per game in the playoffs.

maybe if kobe got away from his ego and got his bigs more shots then things might be different. kobe is taking almost exactly as many shots as bynum and gasol combined in the playoffs.

gasol is gone, and bynum might just be gone this off season as well. gasol is a near guarantee!

I can't wait for the Spurs to play OKC. I can't wait
Um, you just blamed Pau? Did you watch the game?

Kobe shot 2-10 in the 4th quarter, 28 total shots.
Only ONE of last 4th quarter shots was from the paint.

Kobe is shooting under 40% this series while taking roughly 1/3 of all the Lakers shots. Last night at 43%....is the only one of the 4 games he's shot over 40%.

I've been warning people that LA may be facing another Kobe vs. Center rift.....only this time Kobe isn't the young buck.

They already had a conversation about him shooting the ball during the timeout which is why Kobe was confused that he didn't shoot it.

And just like in 2002, all NBA fans knew that the Kings/Lakers series was the NBA Finals because the Celtics or Nets were not going to have a chance of beating either team.

Yes I watched the game and noticed that Hill is a much better player than Gasol because he attacks the glass and rebounds the ball on top of playing defense and blocking shots. Gasol just stands there looking confused and scared and never plays defense and unable to rebound the ball to give his team another opportunity. I'm not blaming Kobe because he played a great 3rd quarter and was responsible for the Lakers leading by 9 after the 3rd quarter. So it's up to the other guys like Bynum and Gasol to help close the game and they couldn't do it. And gasol has a wide open opportunity to score when Kobe passed him the ball and he throws a pass across the court that gets stolen by Durant. The Lakers need to get rid of this fool in the offseason because he is a 7 Foot Joke.

Is that the idea of dealing with the Lakers? Force Kobe to take all the shots by aggressively blocking his teammates. It wears him out quicker. When that happens, his leadership tires too. That has shown during the closing minutes of Games 2 & 4.

That's what it looks like because the Nuggets did the opposite and decided to double team Kobe which left the other players wide open for shots and that's why they lost game 7.
