But what if Nash's sarcaphogas catches fire and he burns to death?

the west is becoming just like the east, 2-3-4 teams at the top and everyone else is middle of the road/bad. the lakers after this trade are not better, as a mater of fact they are not going after any other PGs now that they have a 2 time mvp. nash can get hot and score he can still pass in a run and gun system but he was never a good half court guy, average or slightly better then average but not good.

So the rockets offered linsanity a back loaded deal...... Lmao good call, let dragic go for the hype magnet that is Jeremy Lin. Sell some tickets or win some games, seems the rockets want that money.

True but we are talking about a guard that is going to give Gasol and Bynum so many easy baskets its not even funny. The bottom line is a star is going to score no matter who guard them. Lebron and Durant both got theirs and they checked one another. A star can't really be shut down.

Nash gives the Lakers so many intangibles and he's basketball I.Q is about 100 times better than Westbrook.

He might have a higher basketball IQ than Russell Westbrook, but Westbrook is a better defender, scorer, and much faster than Nash too. It's an upgrade for the Lakers, but IMO, it doesn't get them ahead of the Thunder or Spurs.

im not sold on father time being a starter on any team much longer. he has had a bad back for 2-3-4 yrs now, and moving to the lakers and their training staff isnt going to help. the argument that he is going to get the bigs open looks, ehhhh im not so sure. he did that with the suns because of the system they ran. run and gun isnt going to be in the lakers vocabulary IMO. thats what nash needs to really be effective. he was almost in his prime when he went from the mavs to suns, and his numbers shot up thanks to the system. lakers are not running that system, especially not with brown as the coach. im guessing a huge drop off for nash very soon.

You do realize Chalmbers checked Westbrook in the FInals, Chalmbers sucks for the most part, Westbrook dropped what 44 or so on him and Miami beat the team in 5. Westbrooke did not control the pace of the game nor help stop Miami.

Again a good player will get his.

Jason Kidd has agreed to sign with the Knicks on a three-year, $9 million deal, according to sources.

Kidd will presumably backup Jeremy Lin if he is ultimately retained as expected.

The Mavericks were confident they were moving toward a deal with Kidd.

Mark Cuban and the Mavericks were unsuccessful in their efforts to sign Deron Williams.

Dallas let Tyson Chandler and J.J. Barea go in free agency last summer in an effort to create cap space.

"It's better to miss out on the right player than to sign the wrong player," said Cuban.

This has been one of the worst off-seasons ever. There are some teams making some horrible decisions.
