Dubs take out the Nets again. I'm starting to think GS might be for real this year...hopefully Curry's ankle holds up.

Celtics have been inconsistent all year. They may need more time to gel with their new pieces.

Surprisingly Magic Johnson made a good analysis last night on why they are losing.

"Rondo needs to be more of a scorer than a assist man because the team can't depend on KG and Pierce for offensive production since they are older now. Rondo has to be more of a scorer and get all the oother guys involved besides KG and Pierce and then everything will fall into place."

this sums up for the most part what i have been saying about lin.

Quote:
Western Conference scout on the Jeremy Lin we see in Houston:

Lin
"He's kind of settling into what he really is. On an average team, he can be a starter. On a good team, he's going to have to be a backup.

"He's still not a great shooter and I don't know if that will ever change. He'll absolutely work at it, but he's got a flawed jump shot that's ingrained in him. And he's still a right-hand dominant player who has a tough time going left and finishing to his left and makes questionable decisions going left.

"My other concern would be (James) Harden. There's no question Harden takes the (burden of the) spotlight off Jeremy, but that means Jeremy has to play off the ball when they're out there together. That's not his strength."

Lin with a solid 38 pts and 7 ast against the best team in the NBA(Spurs) tonight. I'm beginning to think he and Harden might be better off not playing together at the same time. Harden didn't play tonite after he sprained his ankle in the previous game. Maybe Lin should come off the bench to run the 2nd unit.

From what i saw in highlights, it appears Asik pretty much shut down Duncan and made 11-14 FTs...not bad for a career 43% FT shooter.

38 points is only impressive after a win so not a lot of credit for that tonight. I praised him last year for scoring 38 pts because he did it after a win over the lakers and mavs. But he still had a long way to go to prove his worth to the Rockets
