There’s a reason Kyrie left. It was Kyrie’s team before they signed Lebron, who then came in and dictated everything (including roster and coaching moves). He isolated Kyrie instead of bringing him into the fold to let him know it was still his team, too. And now he’ll never win another chip in Cleveland because of it.
I wonder if it would even be possible for a personality like Lebron to play for a team like the Spurs. Could he shut up and just play like say Tim Duncan? Was David Blatt really a bad coach or was he just not who GM Lebron wanted to take orders from?

It’s hard to say; Blatt was brought in to help rebuild the Cavs, and the Lebron signing completely changed those plans. But I also don’t see how he was any worse than Ty Lue.
And its utterly laughable when some commentators compare his passing to Magic Johnson....
He's an outstanding passer. Certainly not so flashy and entertaining as Magic, but Magic played in a different era when defense wasn't so good as today.

Yeah, and Kyrie was such a great teammate I saw him sitting on the bench in Game 7 of the ECF. Great teammate opting for some nose surgery that could have been done any time. I hate the big 4 on the Warriors. They are so whiny on every single foul call against them. However, at least they are good teammates to one another.
I have not heard it come out that Lebron is a bad teammate, maybe I wasn't paying attention. I also believe his peers respect him. Again, if I'm wrong then my entire perception of Lebron will change, but until then can't wait until he goes somewhere to beat the Warriors. I'll like the Warriors again once Curry and Draymond, and to a lesser extent Durant and Klay, leave.

Magic played in an era where defense was a lot more physical than today, and where hand-checking was legal and the soft perimeter "fouls" were not called.
Also, defense focus on stopping LeBron from scoring a lot more than they did with Magic.
The defense knew Magic was looking to pass a lot more than score, and still he managed to deceive them routinely.
And if LeBron is nowhere near as flashy as Magic, then why not compare him to John Stockton or someone else?
Its not like great passing has been a rare thing in NBA history.
Since Jordan retired, the West is 14 and 6 in the Finals. 3 sweeps all from the West, the East won 4-1 twice. Next year we'll see the best teams in the league disqualified from the West playoffs, and probably another lopsided Finals victory.
Would a conference change that includes east and west teams help make the playoffs more interesting?

Don’t really want to hear about what Lebron did in the playoffs by beating the Celtics and Pacers. The Finals sweep proves those teams were crap (Boston has an excuse due to missing 2 all stars).

That’s pretty harsh...he passed more in the final game, but he also expected his team to step up and no one did. He still played as well this postseason as any in his prime, but it was just him.
