Sooo.....

cheap + guns + parking = progressive ?

The basic necessities being attainable more easily is the true definition of progressive.. Living within nature is progressive... allowing others to preserve their own people.. allowing death to happen to those who take up space and are just overall detriments to society. A society with personal responsibility is very progressive compared to what is in place now, yes it is. Amen.

I now live in a red county in California and its really safe to say this place is more progressive than Eastern MA. You'd never think anyone would say it but I do. You heard it here first ladies and gentlemen.

Most people think Progressive = Liberal. Which is untrue. EMass may be "Liberal" but it's one of the most segregated places in the Northeast.

Not blatantly racist, but more like any town that has less than 60% White is marked as "Undesirable" and "Going down the tubes". At least on CD (in RL as well). You don't need to move to know that.

Very true. Probably why Washington (State) is passing landmark laws and Seattle is poised for major growth in the future.

Boston, Malden, Lowell, and Randolph are "going down the tubes"? That's news to me.

How about Framingham, Cambridge, Somerville, and Quincy (which are all some 60 - 65% white) are they moving in that direction as well?

Sure there are places like Lynn and Lawrence that are considered "undesirable", but I think that has to do more with poverty than with race...
