Its not a Air Force Base anymore they relocated the squadrons & planes to other air force bases in the country. When the Air Force announced it was closing Niagara Falls Base their was outcrying by the politians , so now it just Air Reserve station, Basically a recruit center for all military branch's

It isn’t in use as a “regular” Air Force base like it was in the past, but it is in use as an Air Reserve(and I believe National Guard) Station: https://www.goang.com/locations/new-...e-station.html
