What is reality?
What is truth?

Point being different people of different cultures in different times have different realities and truth.. Reality and truth are only ones perception...

For example to us an ant is small, to a microbe a ant is large... It is all relative..

Me believing reality is nothing more than perception does not make a discussion pointless... Matter of fact it is the point... The human condition what separates us, what is at the source of war, hate, and other human atrocities... The fact that more than one reality exists. More than one truth exists is the source of friction between groups.

To comprehend illusion one must first accept realities and truths are only perceptions.. Once one can step back from their perception and see others perception then one realizes individual or even groups "reality" and "truth" can very well be an illusion, as ones reality or truth does not exist for another individual or group...

A understanding of this is key to an understanding of why conflict occurs. Why the Europeans culture had such a devastating impact on so many of the aboriginal groups they encountered. This inability or unwillingness of the Europeans to see that a different set of realities and truths existed for the aboriginals, is at the root of this.

On another note:

What is "conservative"?
What is "liberal"?

Your perception of each is different than mine... Matter of fact no two individuals have exactly the same perception.. Sure similar, sure manifests can be created and approved that a majority at any given point in time would agree too.

But why? What is the goal of all this?
Is it not to try and comprehend different viewpoints, to help us complete our own?
IMO labels muck up the water and really do not serve any purpose but to divide..

I mean no disrespect, but the above is just meaningless blather. Madness. Intellectual suicide. What a pathetic, sad way to live.

You have your perception, I have mine. According to you, neither is objectively true or real, in whole or in part. So what's there to discuss? Consensus is impossible because there is no reality behind it. Let's just stay out of each other's way.
