This is insane. How dare California honor a man who fought strongly for gay rights in California! Maybe if we keep our heads under our rugs long enough the homosexuals will go away!

I'm sure on Harvey Milk day your kids will be required to dress as drag queens and kings, and they will not be released from class until the profess their love of the same sex.

Get real, folks.

Snort, I gave you a positive rep a bit ago, I'd like to take it back.
Feel free. I think celebrating sexual orientation is absurd. I suppose you don't have tolerance for my opinion. Nothing against Milk or homosexuals, heterosexuals, metrosexuals, or people who are into gerbils.
Identity should not be linked to sexual proclivities. That's my opinion.

Are you likening Harvey Milk to Martin Luther King Jr?

really?

I wonder if theyre going to rewrite history to say that Milk was killed because of homophobia?

btw, that's not true.

Pays to read the whole thing, I am likening tolerance to tolerance, I figured that would be obvious.

I'm just saying. Milk is like MLK? Huh?

Hey by all means, go right ahead. I just think that's a bit of a stretch.

Lets try it again, I do not care a whit for Milk, I don't care a whit for gays or the gay movement, I care about tolerance, either one is tolerant or one is not.

I MLK tain't much to me either, not being a member of that community

I'm not religious but I do believe in nature. Two men/women can't hook up and have a child so why should my children learn about this lifestyle? If you put all the gays on an island in the middle of the ocean with infinite amenities, they'll still die off in a generation.

Right, b/c being gay renders one's reproductive organs useless. It's not like a gay man could have sex with a lesbian to produce a baby or anything.
