So the drought is so great that fires are now being put out with vinegar instead of water?

Canadian wines aren't always that easy to find in Quebec.

Yes I noticed that when I was there. In B.C. though we don't see a lot of Ontario wine either and I didn't see a lot of B.C. wines when I was in Ontario.
It's too bad really because there are some excellent Ontario and B.C. wines that Quebeckers would enjoy.
The reason…our silly inter-provincial liquor laws.

Shipping our wine across the country is still not easy

Growing up in a half French, half English household, my French Canadian mom made "pets de soeurs" (nuns' farts!) from brown sugar rolled up into scraps of pie dough, tourtière, pâté chinois (basically shepherd's pie). If we visited the sugar shack we had "tire" and "oreilles de crisse" (Christ's ears a.k.a deep fried pork rinds). My father's side of the family were more "British" - think fruit salad trapped in jello, lamb with mint sauce and Sunday roast served at lunch time in complete silence.

Pelee Island merlot from Ontario is lovely, but hard to find in Quebec.

I live in a foodie paradise, with great ethnic restaurants of every stripe within walking distance.
However, what we don't have is tacos. My kid loves tacos.

Anyone ever try "ooliken grease soup" (smelt oil soup)? It's considered a delicacy in the First Nations communities along the BC coast. Alaska, too.
