I had an acquintance who claimed to be a second cousin or inlaw (I forget which) to Tony Danza. He was an Irish guy. IIRC, Tony Danza used to train in boxing out on Long Island.

I stood next to Sting when I was coming back to America from the UK, as I originally am from the UK but reside in the states. He seemed nice enough but I didn't bother him because he had a pile full of cases and I think he must of been going on tour or some very long vacation. Of course I tried to discreetly tell my father who told my mother. My dad has a very loud voice so I am sure Sting heard. SMH

She was charming.

A buddy of mine volunteered at a charity golf event in Georgia many years ago. His job was to attend to any celebrities that might need "attending to." That's when he met Ally Sheedy. He said she was extremely personable. He said they chatted for about 30 minutes just like they were old friends. Very nice lady.

This is a fun thread!

I met Lionel Richie once at LAX. Super nice guy. Took the time to take photos with people. He took a photo with me then spoke with me for a few minutes or so after I asked him what it was like to work with Michael Jackson. He was very genuine. He had a flight to catch or else I think he would have stuck around for more people.

I met LeBron James once at a local high school basketball game. I shook his hand as he walked by and say hey. He was nice enough. Not sure nice, but certainly not mean and said hello back.

Catherine Keener is awesome!
Here in Michigan there were films being made for a short time, being given tax credits (around 2010 ish), and I was working night audit at a hotel where some stars stayed. Catherine had a rented car(no personal driver or security team) and she was often up very early and would talk to me. She was so friendly and down to earth! She bought me a Starbucks coffee one time and she hugged me her last day there. I always liked her as an actress but even more so after that.
We had others there as well. Danny Glover (tall!) and Ed Harris (short!) purchased from our gift shop. Friendly and cordial. Ed Helms was also there, he would come in late (with his guitar) and he never stopped to chat but he always waved Hello.
Evan Ross and his model girlfriend (don’t know name, from that OC tv show) stayed for a while. He was nice to us (she wouldn’t even look at us) but they had a puppy in their suite that caused some problems.
LOL good times.
