How is the Goose Creek area? I was looking at the Brickhope Village area. I see they are building homes there or if you know of any other plantation development areas where new homes are being built. I am also wondering what is the starting salary for new teachers who may be relocating from a different state?

If there are reports of shooting, they always happen in North Charleston. I would not move there.

I don't live in the Goose Creek area, but have sold many homes to clients in Goose Creek, Ladson, Summerville and Hanahan (and I keep in touch with them regularly). I have not heard any horror stories from any of them...

The "new" subdivisions in Goose Creek like Liberty Hall, Foxbank Plantation, Cane Bay Plantation and Brickhope Greens appear to be very safe.

Crowfield Plantation, the premier neighborhood in Goose Creek apparently is also very safe...

Like in any city, there are "pockets" of Goose Creek that look intimidating, but if you pick a neighborhood, stop by the local Police Station and the'll give you all the crime stats for that area...
