Happy Palm Sunday all. Here's to a week of Peace.
I generally don't posts of a personal note but this morning is going to be a little special for me (and a tough one). I am going to tell my wheelchair bound Mom that my brother and I will be moving her this month to Hilton Head SC (Brookdale Living an assisted care home less than 5 minutes from my brother). Not an easy thing to tell her after 92 years in NYC.
Well I guess even at 92 she too can enjoy southern living.
Wish me luck.

My girls will participate in the palm processional at church.
Looking forward to Easter, the high point of our faith!

Hope that it goes well with your mom, John. I hope that you brought her some photos to show her how lovely HHI is and how the weather is a lot warmer. Maybe that will make it easier...

John - just wanted you to know I am thinking about you and your family. I bet your mom will love living at Brookdale. But that is a big psychological change and can imagine you are hoping it will all go well with both the move and her happiness in Hilton Head. I hope I live t o 92 and my sons make sure I am near them, no matter where that might be. |
