Why would you question it? If it's what he feels has been revealed to him by God, or Yahshuah or whomever...on what grounds do you question it?
I mean "Jesus". The Bible records his name as Ἰησοῦς -- most closely translated "Yesus". It wasn't written in Hebrew. It was written in Greek.
It was/is written as Yeshua in Hebrew...
