All over the bible- fornication is condemned. In revelation 21:8 it says fornicators are going into the lake of fire. And at 1Corinthians 6:9-11-- it teaches about many sins God will not accept-fornication is one of them. Galations 5:19-21 is another list. Both spots clearly teach--will not enter Gods kingdom.
Porneia=consorting with prostitutes. Commercial sex.
But can't attribure romantic love to same sex unions.
I think because she separates sex from love she can't see being homosexual or heterosexual as anything more than a preference for a certain type of naughty bits. Because it's intertwined for me I can't see it that way. Just a difference of perspective.
The better question for the OP is "Why does the homosexual community want so badly to be approved of by Christians?"

1)They care about being able to get the same jobs you can get. The London School of Business and Ecnomics did a study a couple of years ago that pointed out that gays and lesbians tend to cluster in jobs that have a great deal of independence (helping them avoid stigmatization) such as massage therapy or law while they avoid jobs that require more interdependence such as firefighters and police officers. They also tend to cluster into jobs that require strong social awareness like teaching. Task independence at work makes it easier to conceal one’s sexual orientation and reduces the negative repercussions of “coming out," while the discrimination they have suffered makes them more cognizant of the needs of students of clients. Jobs requiring a lot of interaction are difficult to obtain without hiding in the closet---that causing a great deal of psychological stress.
In 1994, investment banker Walter Schubert Jr. walked into a therapist’s office and burst into tears. Schubert told the therapist that he was the only gay man on Wall Street. His analyst calmly assured him that he most certainly was not, but that he could become the first to be open about it. Schubert did come out publicly. But five years later, at the turn of the millennium, he was still the only openly gay individual among the 1,365 members of the New York Stock Exchange.
2) They care about being able to live where they want.
On May 25 of this year New Yorker magazine reported the stance of a powerful California Republican:
"Nevertheless, (Rep) Rohrabacher has decided to take a controversial stand against California’s decades-old prohibition on denying housing to people because they are gay. “Every homeowner should be able to make a decision not to sell their home to someone [if] they don’t agree with their lifestyle,” Rohrabacher told the Orange County Association of Realtors last week."
So your bigoted 'christian' buddies value themselves and their "right" to discriminate over the Bible's words to "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves." Philippians 2:3
Who do you support? The discriminated gays or your Christian flag-waving buddies like, jeffbase40 who stands up for anti-gay comments and laws every chance he gets?
Want to use a fairly easy way to identify states that do not provide any kind of laws to protect the LGBTQ community? Just look at the states which voted for Trump. That includes the pagan red states that have the most religion and the least amount of Jesus among their numbers.
Both physically and spiritually. I'd clarify that though by saying conservative Christianity. And I say that as a Christian, but I'm guided by Christ, not other people.
ok what is the difference between homo sexual and hetrosexual.. it is a defintion of their sexual-ity meaning the kind of sex that they have or want to have .. you are wrong.
it has come to mean all kinds of things except that which it defines.
homosexual ......a person who is sexually attracted to people of their own sex.
what it and the word has squat to do with is LOVE.
there is no LOVE there. no matter what games people play with that word it is a word describing only sexuality. neither Does the Bible give people the space to put the concept of love and commitments and unity or holy covenants, or God "love" or anyone else's " love" into their kinds of sexualities, except that which He has ordained from the beginning ?
men will do what they will do.. what it can never be is holy and sanctioned BY God .
I have lost freinds to AIDS and other such diseases and there is only one holy way to do things.

For me personally, it's because I want to serve Christ more than anything. But because I'm a lesbian and transgender, I can't. Also, because I desperately want a church home, but because of the traditional teaching on homosexuality, I find it almost impossible to have that.
They brought them into this world and they can take them out!
