We know EXACTLY what has just taken place in Revelation when he says it is finished because this is said every single day by the priest. Everything is not done though. You are looking at Tradition, Jesus HAD to say it.

Why does the priest say this every day?

Since my salvation (free gift through faith and grace ) was not based on what I've done, there is nothing I can do to lose it. Jesus secured it all when HE took sin off the table at the cross. The wages of sin is DEATH which if God held our SINS against us we could never have eternal LIFE. One who is DEAD needs one thing LIFE. If we are saved and then die the point of the exercise is a waste of time, Jesus wants fellowship with His people. Remember the verse "I am THE (only) way, THE truth, and the LIFE". Jesus had to be resurrected to give all who believe LIFE.
If you say so...

He's saying some Christians have the crazy idea that not believing the right things [being an "unbeliever"] makes someone evil in God's sight. But, of course, it's unloving behavior that is the problem, and that is not exclusive to any single group of people or individual. Christians are just as likely to behave badly (be unloving) as anyone else.
Thanks, Pleroo.

There's no need for this thread. Jesus didn't come to save people from sin and death. He came to DESTROY sin and death - and that He did, and they have no power over anyone or anything indefinitely. It is finished.

Solomon's Solemn Sacrifice
4Then the king and all the people offered sacrifice before the LORD. 5King Solomon offered a sacrifice of 22,000 oxen and 120,000 sheep. Thus the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.

142,000 times they said,'' It Is Finished.''

Every single time a throat is cut, the priest MUST SAY,'' It is finished.''

The ONLY thing Jesus meant was that the details of the laws and traditions had to be fulfilled in him. All the details of all the sacrifices had to be played out from the head of John to the intestines of Judas, to Barabbas being the Yom Kippur Goat set free, Jesus HAD to say this, or the stones would have cried out saying it.

It doesn't mean that nothing else happens, the fall holy days also have to play out, and on Tishri 15th, ALL SACRIFICES have to happen again on a single day, Tishri 15th.

Jesus also died as the Ram of Pentecost, but Pentecost was not fulfilled till Pentecost came, and the fall festivals have to play out or the Messianic age can never come.

You really ought to spend some time in the NT. Hebrews, Romans, Colossians, and Galatians would benefit you to read and study.

What is wrong in trying to understand what you are actually reading?

All I care about is learning who Jesus is, and that is impossible if you are reading through tons of Jewish idioms relating to what Messiah is fulfilling and what the book is saying and you don't know the traditions and rituals with their idioms.. It takes decades of study for a Pagan Gentile to come back to Jewish roots to study in order for him to have understanding.

You don't have to learn every Jewish idiom, every appointed prayer, every duty and word of the priests, but if you want to discuss a Jewish idiom, you should at least take the time out to learn what it means. If somebody wants to know who Jesus is, they try and understand what they are reading.

Every single thing Jesus did and said had to do with the laws and the temple with it's traditions and sayings.

You can have salvation, and you don't have to study, but if you don't want to know the traditions and rituals and the meaning of all the idioms you are reading through, you should never even mention Revelation or Matthew 24, and many other things said in tradition, laws with their idioms and appointed prayers. Revelation is nothing but Jewish idiom, and it is a good example of the language that exists. Not knowing all the idioms, and traditions, and laws, people don't even know their is a hidden language in what they are looking at.

People can't read this language if they don't know all the traditions and rituals, and that is why people look at Revelation as crazy. Everything Jesus says in Matthew 24 is Jewish idioms about the fall feast days just as the book of Revelation is wholly devoted to the fall holy days.

You must not live on earth. Or don't you think it is sin when a woman gets raped, or a terrorist explodes a bomb and kills innocents, etc.

Your last sentence isn't fact. Jesus own words prove that at Matthew 7:21-23--these all believe. It takes much more than just believing, That was a partial truth.

You must have missed the context.
