It is just a book. It doesn't change the "gospel" message. What's the big deal? My 13 year old daughter read it, liked it, and she isn't much into church either. (I'm still not wasting my time though.)

Christ died for the sins of the world. That's universal reconciliation. But universal reconciliation is not universal salvation. For reconciliation to be applied to a person, a person has to believe in Christ for salvation. Then and only then is a person saved. Failure to believe in Christ means eternal condemnation to the lake of fire.

The big deal is that Satanic deception is present in many forms, including literature. When people who are ignorant of the Bible anyway, then read a book such as this which presents God in a false light, they become susceptable to inculcation of doctrines of demons. They become vulnerable to even more deception. And they become more disoriented to the truth.

This comment proves you have no idea what your talking about.

That must be what happened to Christianity.

When enough quotes from the book are read to know what the theme of the book is, which is to present a false Christ, there is no need to read the entire book.

Repeating something doesn't change a thing.
