Considering that The northern half of Canada is pretty much uninhabitable, I choose the U.S.

I vote for Canada because as a nation it has far less "attitude" and it's far more socially progressive than the United States.

Scenery in favor of Canada? I don't know...I think that would definitely go to the United States. It has very similar landscapes to Canada in places like Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountains, Upper New England...but also has beautiful deserts and tropical areas.

Also, how is Canada's government superior?

Not saying you're wrong...just arguing for the sake of it.

Honestly,

Even though I prefer to live in the US, I can still honestly say that I could see myself Happy in either or. Since life is about choices and I'm fortunate of having the luxury of being able to choose which Country to live, then I choose the US because it offers more of what I want and need. That's without taking anything from Canada because I understand that the US has years of a head start on you guy's, so in that respect Canada gets huge credit for there progress thus far.

Your Basic Criteria:

  • Economy-
  • Weather-
  • Natural Scenery-
  • Food-
  • Safety-
  • Best Tourist attractions (in any City you like within either Country)-
  • Education-
  • More Diverse-
  • Entertainment (Music, Sports, Movies etc.)-
  • History-
  • Which is more important to the World-
  • which has more important Cities-
  • Better Lifestyle-
  • Better to raise Children-
  • Which Has More Vibrant Cities-
  • Which has the most invention's-
  • Overall Financial Contribution's-
  • Fashion & style-
  • Superior Government-
And anything else that you could Think of, but Let's at least try to keep it Civil guy's. All I want is complete Honest opinion's from American's and Canadian's alike.

If you think the listed Criteria is a bit to much, then just state why you prefer One Country over the other. it's not that hard. Just a simple question of which would you choose to live and Why, regardless of how big or superior one is to the other?
Weather...? Are you serious with this one?

Economy- USA
Weather- Do I realy need to argue here?
Natural Scenery- Tie (both has great natural places like north canada, grand canyon...)
Food- I hope for the american sake that it's better than Canada because it's hard to be worse than Canada, i keep crying when i'm about to eat (i'm from france so...)
Safety- Canada
Best Tourist attractions (in any City you like within either Country)- I do not think that any canadian city could rivalise against NYC, LA, SF, DC... the best proof is that Disney didn't even bother opening a theme park there...
Education- Canada becase it's cheaper, bu usa has the most prestigious universities but overall i'd say canada
More Diverse- do not even need to argue here... USA by a mile
Entertainment (Music, Sports, Movies etc.)- USA
History- won't say
Which is more important to the World- wow... ain't that obvious...? USA
which has more important Cities- USA by far... I mean by like 154 miles
Better Lifestyle- If you love winter, Canada, if you prefere warm weather, usa

Better to raise Children- Depend on which city do you live in
Which Has More Vibrant Cities- usa
Which has the most invention's- i'd guess usa
Overall Financial Contribution's- can't tell cause don't know
Fashion & style- usa (canadian goes to usa to buy nice clothes so...)
Superior Government-usa.. The canadian goverment keep fighting each other so...

Uh... does Canada offer anything to beat the combination of the metros of NYC+Chicago+LA+Bay Area+DC+Philly (which already has a greater population than Canada)? And if it did, no way in hell would it be beating the combination of NYC+Chicago+LA+Bay Area+DC+Philly+Boston+Miami+Atlanta+Seattle+Portla nd+New Orleans+Detroit+etc... they're not in the same league.

well they're not in the same league absolutely, look here:

Toronto > NYC > Chicago > Vancouver > Paris > London > Montreal > L.A. > SF > Calgary
