Seattle isn't the only one with a mountain backdrop. We're underrated there IMO.
I love SF Bay Area, I don't ever want to leave this place. Unless its for LA or San Diego which I love equally to SF Bay Area.
I often see Mt. Diablo out the window of the kitchen at my office. Because the air is so clear here, we see it in pretty crisp detail, but I have never seen it like this, as the Oakland hills obscure quite a bit of the base from the City's view. I need to venture east soon and take a look.
Maybe thats why its underrated on here. Cause everyone from the real world comes on here to bash it.
But their criticisms of Miami is as exaggerated(if not more exaggerated) than people's praise of Miami outside of C-D. Miami is what it is. Beaches, Palm Trees, and Crime. Not a 3rd world city though.
I'm not going to comment on New Orleans, but Seattle? It's often considered a model city. Well-educated, healthy, fairly low crime. As far as Orlando, that just seems to be an odd choice...locals seem to like it but Disneyworld is really what put it on the map. You really don't hear much about the city itself.

Seattle has oppressive weather and is perhaps the most suicidal city in the US. It's not as "clean" as people make it out to be.

I'm from New Orleans. I don't mind a little rain
