Back on topic, I would think Pittsburgh use to be more important with the steel mills. But since those are pretty much all gone, and Tampa has the Largest port in Florida and a major military base, i'd say Tampa is the more important city.
I've always liked Pittsburgh, the way its situated on the fork of a river surrounded by hills. But I wouldn't want to live there.
I totally agree and I too like the way Pittsburgh is situated, its a beautiful city.
carniege-mellon university is certainly no dump, in the realm of academics, as it has a national reputation in theater arts to say the very least.
Is that why I've never heard of it? The University of South Florida has one of the better engineering programs in the country.
