Killeen-Ft Hood is a different metro. The stats there don't even count towards Austin's 10%.

The SA and SF metropolitan areas have a larger black population than Austin though. San Antonio's black population isn't that much bigger though.

Good point. Austins black population is relatively small. That's why when I moved to Charlotte I was like WHOA!! I'm black myself(Haitian) so I didn't mind. But I miss the white people of Austin. I miss Austin. Charlotte is cool though. Man, UT lost about 45mins ago.

Austin's black population isn't the greatest no doubt. And i've often said that's one of the few things I dislike about the city. However, after doing the math Austin's black population is anywhere from about 60,000-70,000. Not totally bad. Combine that with the fact that Austin is surrounded by a couple of black meccas (Houston and Dallas) and Austin has a decent enough black population to where blacks here don't feel totally isolated (like they might in places like Seattle). Still, an extra 4 or 5% of the popluation would be nice lol.

Yes and the Aggies lost a heartbreaker to Purdue. When you coming back home to Texas. We Texan tend to move to other parts of the country and get home sick after a while.

Yeah, Texas has the better cities, Florida could give it a run for its money, but NC is coming up.

Lol, this is why I love South Florida, because theres a lot of "those people" aka my people, New Yorkers etc. There is a difference between being rude and nasty and being real and honest. A lot of people aren't used to the New York attitude, they're not used to people telling it like it is, most people are too laid back imo.
