Some good news for downtown for everybody to check out. Tomorrow afternoon Governor Strickland will announce the winners for the Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credit. One of the buildings that won is the Schofield building on East 9th and Euclid. So hopefully that project can get started because downtown needs more apartments in that East 4th, lower Euclid area. In fact, according to Crain's Cleveland, out of the 232 apartments at 668 Euclid Avenue, there are only 3 left. And these apartments haven't been on the market for very long. There was also an interesting article on the Flats East Bank, hopefully that will be able to get started soon as well.
