The problem with the peppermints on 10th was not with the store itself, but with the location...unfortunately, the homeless, panhandlers, and other undesirables were drawn to that store like moths to flames. We went there a number of times when it opened, but stopped going because every time we went there we were accosted for money or had really weird encounters...so, we stopped going.

A new Mexican restaurant is coming to Arlington Village, right at the intersection of Arlington and Red Banks. El Roadeo? I forgot the name

How many more Mexican Restaurants can be saturated between Greenville & Winterville? What we really need (if "another" restaurant is going to come in) is a good, "fresh", seafood restaurant where there are other options besides "fried". Just MO.

I would like to see a decent fried seafood place first. Mayflower barely passes for edible anymore and Dixie Queen fries in the most putrid cheap oil they can find.

I agree, I use to love Mayflower now their disgusting to me. I haven't been to Dixie Queen in a while so I can't speak on it. If I'm not mistaken McCormick and Schmick's is supposed to locate near the mall, so that'll be pretty good.

I wonder how Bonefish Grille will do. I don't know if Greenville can support both Bonefish and a McCormick & Schmicks (hadn't heard about them coming in). Two upscale seafood restaurants?

I remember we visited NYC while living in Portland OR several years ago, and it was funny that we ended up eating at McCormick (they're based out of Portland). Traveling all that distance to end up at a "local" (to Portland) restaurant.

I have driven by Mayflower daily at various times for almost two years now, and I've seen a notable difference in the number of cars in their parking lot. There's a lot less now than even just a few months ago.

We had gone to Mayflower quite a bit when they first opened, then a couple of yrs. ago ordered take out and the fish smelled bad we threw it away and never went back. It is easier just to go to Shore to Door or The Fresh Market buy our fish, bring it home and grill or bake it. It is fresh and we know where it comes from. It would just be nice to be able to go out and eat fresh fish and not come home smelling of rancid oil.

Bonefish Grill & Mc. & S.[/b] I think will both do well if they are serving quality, fresh food.
