US and Delta cancelled their flights in LGA the Weather Channel said earlier.
Snowing lightly in Hartford now...

Over New Jersey, close to NYC. We're making our decent now. Very bumpy. Flight attendants are strapped in. Should be landing in about 20 minutes. Hopefully the drive home will be smooth

Funny you said that right after I threw another piece in there. Temperature is 71 in main living areas, 67 in bedrooms and 55 in the 2 rooms I keep the door closed. Furnace hasnt run since 4am...thats 20 hrs.

Pressure of storm dropped to 1006.

A twist to the excitment... Live reports from a fellow CT resident while in the air ... Hope you got snow tires... Should'nt be many people on the road.. I bet you he's flying in between the 2 pressure systems then heading east into the bigger one...

Just arrived home. Roads are slick and covered. Visibility is poor. Took me about an hour to go from Windsor Locks to Vernon. Normal drive is about 25 minutes. About two inches on the ground.

it is like an apocalypse on 95 from Bport to Milford. accumulation between 11pm and 2am was fastest ive seen

Most people are going to be shocked when they wake up... Its one thing seeing a forecast and numbers on the screen but its another to actually see it on the ground..
