Congratulations on what appears to be a major Snownami, pick a good name for it. Don't forget to clear snow away from your dryer and furnace vents. Stay off those roofs.

Awesome pics and posts guys...keep em coming.

Roads should be clear to this afternoon... Enjoy the mountains of snow.
Not in my neck of the woods. It's still snowing pretty good here with strong wind gusts. The roads are essentially untouched and crews will be busy well into tomorrow to make them usable for the average car.

Channel 2 News New York at noon actually emphasized Connecticut because of the greater snows there and spent a good 10 minutes showing Danbury.......wow! The shot of the bench downtown full of snow drifts was really cool.

Good luck and stay safe to those up in Hartford, New London, etc. who are still very much getting the snow........(and probably already have 2 feet!)

My driveway just got plowed...yippie!

Anyway, yesterday I bought some new snow shoes, and decided to try them out this morning. Here's the video...CT snow, from a Texan's POV.

Luna is a beauty! No relation though, we got Libby from Labs4Rescue. She's a Hurricane Katrina rescue.

Amazing...One more big snow and 96 records could start to be looked at. Where is heat miser (wavehunter) by the way? He always disappears during these storms then reappears when it starts to warm up.

Just came in from shoveling. Stuck a tape measure in the snow on my back deck. 21 inches here in Derby.

Is that a pup or an midget Alpaca...? Cute nonetheless!
