The comments on that site are painful. Some of these people really would be content with no development, ever.

They're also the same ones that complain that taxes are too high.

I saw them too and yes you are right. They complain about all the new development changing the city but then also complain about taxes being high. Some people just like to complain. No satisfying them. Jay

I saw a formerly abandoned factory in New Haven that was converted into offices, and someone spray painted "stop gentrifying New Haven" on the outside of it. I guess the SJWs think urban decay is "progress" even though they themselves would never subject themselves to actually living amongst it.

Details of the plan for a new bio medical tower iatrogenic 101 College Street in Downtown Crossing are starting to emerge. Sounds like a great plan. Jay

The developer of the proposed 500,000 square foot Biotower on College Street in Downtown Crossing is even more enthusiastic about the $100 million project despite the Covid-19 crisis and plans to move forward. Great news. Jay

I couldn't tell from the article. Are they building a new tower or are they using one that's already built?

No, it’s a brand new tower. There were posts previously on this project here. You can go back and look for them if you want more information on it. Jay

Here is the original post on the proposed Biotower. It should have the information you are looking for. Jay

It looks like plans are moving forward with a plan for 5he development of the New Haven Colosseum site. The first phase will include 200 apartments at the corner of Orange Street and George Street. Gone is the long anticipated hotel which sadly I read that the financing fell apart during the Covid-19 crisis. Jay
