I am totally okay with 1-3". Maybe.

Whatever, hopefully summer is long. I've already given up on a nice spring.

I spent the day preparing enough wood to get through next week. Very impressive cold for this time of the year. This feels like January but its almost April!

SKIES WILL CLEAR OUT DURING THE EVE. UNSEASONABLY COLD NIGHT EXPECTED TONIGHT WITH LOWS DROPPING INTO THE TEENS...LOWER 20S IN METRO NY/NJ. WIND CHILLS WILL BOTTOM OUT IN THE SINGLE DIGITS AT MOST LOCATIONS...EXCEPT AROUND 10 IN THE NYC METRO AREA. SOME LOCATIONS WELL INLAND COULD FALL BELOW ZERO.

However, looking ahead. Models starting to show 60's and 70's early April. It looks like a big pattern change is coming right around April 1st.

give it up..the storm is OTS for this area...geez. In fact models are much more track certain than they are intensity certain. All models show it 150 miles east of the benchmark. only the cape and nantucket will see 6 +...and that is not even definite.

It could be 70 degrees in a week. Why do so many of you judge whats happening today with what is going to happen two weeks from now.?

It really looks like a big pattern change is coming. I wouldn't be surprised if we see 70's around next weekend.

Many places might tie or break record lows tomorrow morning. BDRs is 20 and all the NYC stations except Central Park only need to get to the low-mid 20s to tie or break a record

I love the cold but I think we are done with winter.

The AO (Artic Oscilation) looks to go negative/neutral soon. The artic air is going to retreat north.

NWS Boston:
PER ENSEMBLE MEMBERS...THE AO-INDEX EXHIBITS A TREND BACK TO A NEAR- NEUTRAL STATE BY THE BEGINNING OF APRIL. THE 8-DAY CANADIAN ENSEMBLE MEAN SHOWS A STRONG POSITIVE ANOMALY ACROSS THE CENTRAL CONUS WITH A NEGATIVE ANOMALY LOCKED UP OVER CANADA. THE 192- AND 264-HOUR CIPS ANALOG GUIDANCE CONVEYS SUPPORT TOWARDS SUCH OUTCOMES. THE CPC 8-14 DAY OUTLOOK /UNCHANGED AS OF YESTERDAY/ HAS HIGHER PROBABILITIES OF A WARMER-TREND CREEPING INTO THE NE CONUS. ARCTIC-AIR LOCKED AWAY... PACIFIC AIR LOOKS TO STAY.\
