Sooooo anyone get any sunburns this week? I ask because days are getting shorter now. Soon it’s going to be time for black ice and slippery road conditions.

You know ...Nov to April is the bad weather

May-early October is the best weather.

Its good CT doesn't get a lot of heat waves. Thankfully we're done with the 90s now. Maybe even mid-upper 80s.

Looks like next Sunday is our next chance of true fall like air. Not Thursday now.

I don’t agree. There is some nice weather in November and December as well as March and April. Jay

Everyone's definition of good weather is different, but by my definition nice weather in those months is very much the exception to the rule.

March and April are without a doubt the worst 2 months in Connecticut weather-wise.

I agree. But it's partially psychological. We're burnt out by the winter and wanting so much for it to get nice........but it doesn't. Often still more snow or rain or gray before it finally turns in May.

Alaska winter you have no sun because of another reason but it’s no surprise but Aleutian Islands is cloudy as it gets.

During monsoons in India and Indonesia and Northern Territory Australia gets seasonal endless cloudcover but off season you would rarely see no sun for a whole week.

This stalled out front no sun for days abruptly is a thing mainly in the Eastern Continental North America, UK, Pacific Northwest, and Scandinavia
Ahhhh now I understand your extreme weather pessimism. You're from San Francisco? It's got to be tough for a native of sunny California to deal with our weather. I've lived here my whole life but even I can barely deal anymore. I dream of living in California---earthquakes, wildfires, and cost of living be damned!

When we finally get that taste I can hear the folks saying "see, its Fall now, not Sept 1st". Lol

It snowed in Edmonton and its been cold in Western US & Canada and that air will eventually get to us. Maybe next week
