I AM LOVING THIS WEATHER! Finally I can fuss with my flowers without melting away or being blasted by the glaring sun rays. The weather feels soft and beautiful. No need to slather myself with sun screen but also no need to mess with jacket, hat, etc. Perfect weather. Windows wide open.

Radar loop past 4 hours as the sun sets. 2:40-6:40pm Sept 8, 2018.

Stalled front and Gordon remnants producing a Saturday of dreary rain and clouds. Northern CT hasn't seen any rain today. Not sure if they will haven't checked. Doesn't look like they need a big shirt to see any

Me too. Nice to breath again. I had to close some windows. Lol.

Watch the 18th for a deeper cooler airmass. We'll see. Florence may disturb that.

Nice dewpoint drop...finally
Dewpoint of 48 degrees

But to get the sunny cloud-free high pressure ridge of the cooler air mass one needs to drive up to Montreal. We are still too close to the stalled out frontal boundary south of us to clear the cloud cover, though this is Montreal’s airmass now we are in.

The first cold frontal boundary is now over Virginia (south of which is the disgusting hot air we had through Thursday) and a second cold front creeped below us earlier this morning but it’s now broken apart west of Connecticut so we now have the coolest air mass but temporarily drier than West of us. But soon it’ll just be what New York is getting as the second cold front is falling apart.

Unless it is even colder in the Rockies or northern Maine (i.e. a location not giving a temperature on the map), that 27 on the map (I am guessing Saranac Lake, NY) will likely be the national (lower 48) "low temperature" today! Anyway, very refreshing temperatures!
