If they want to exercise their beliefs they can sacrifice their tax money.
Where I live, property taxes foot most of the bill for schools. To my knowledge there are no tax breaks for vaxxers.

I don't even have any kids, but I have zero problem paying for schools because someone paid for me. So, no exceptions!

I am not so fortunate, because fate and genetics gave me this crappy disease. It sucks. Big time.
I feel for you and am sorry you have health issues, however I am not talking about vaccines. I am talking about the article. It was designed to make you fearful.

Several months ago this woman died yet the article comes out right after the CA bill...

At least this article tries to make it seem like an update in that she was vaccinated: Woman who died from measles had been vaccinated - 7News Boston WHDH-TV

I have every reason to be fearful, and I've known that since the day I started my meds. Whether or not the article makes you fearful is not something I can control.

I was talking about funding when there are less students. If there are less students and the school gets less funding.. teachers laid off etc.

Go to the thread about it and you will see my critique of that article. The woman supposedly died months ago but we are just hearing about it now right after the CA bill passes...

Again you missed the point of my comments. Hope you recover.

If all those homeschooled kids hang out together, the risk to each and every one of them contracting one of the diseases vaccines prevent increases. If you look at the outbreaks, they most often have affected pockets of unvaccinated kids.

I don't want any kid to get sick, but the anti-vax movement has only gained traction because the vast majority of moms with young kids have no idea what the diseases vaccines prevent were actually like - if groups of unvaccinated kids spend time together, their parents will find out and have no one to blame but themselves (as well as creating risk for a bunch of other folks whose kids have medical conditions preventing them from vaccinating or are too young).

Here's a quote from the author Roald Dahl about his daughter's death from measles at age 7 (before vaccines were available).

November 1962 - death of Roald Dahl's daughter Olivia

If you choose not to vaccinate your child and they contract any one of these preventable illnesses IT WILL BE YOUR FAULT.

Not Jenny McCarthy's, not the pharmaceutical industry. It will be the fault of the parent who could have saved their child from the type of death Roald Dahl's daughter had, and didn't.
I didn't mean taxes but where those taxes are allocated.

Like this: As vaccine bill advances, parents threaten to pull kids — and thus funding — from schools

If parents really wanted to, they could fight the billl by homeschooling and affect many other people through less funding.

I didn't miss it. You think the the case is being used to pressure the public into supporting mandatory vaccinations. I'm not interested in debating that point. For me, the story is personal. Being immunocompromised affects my day-to-day life. This woman's case of measles went undiagnosed because she was on immunosuppressant drugs. That could have been me. It will be a happy, happy day when I'm in remission, and I can go on with my life without having to worry about every random sneeze. Thank you for your well wishes. My next test is in a couple of weeks, and I'm very hopeful that it will be good news.

Every piece of evidence points to the benefits being exponentially greater than any risk, and if you're not willing to do it, your child is lucky the government has mandates.
Sorry, but not everyone blindly follows the government because the government supposedly knows best. We have religious objections to certain vaccines, and CA won't allow those anymore. Therefore, our kids would be home schooled in this states. Forget freedom of religion. (Children don't have to go to school in order to connect with their peers.)

The article being propaganda is just wrong whether measles or some other political agenda... don't you want to see truth or just any trumped up story they want to feed you?

Also, I have always been curious if someone like you who is immunocompromised relies on others to not sneeze on them or do you take your own precautions?

As long as they still pay, I don't care.
It's up to the government to allocate it. All they need to do is change how schools are funded. Problem easily solved.
