Are there any countries which are not shutting down their economies, businesses, services, etc?
Either from the country's government/leadership rejecting the globally imposed shutdown mandates imposed by the WHO or armtwisting by the USA and/or the world-at-large?
Or from a majority of the populace rejecting stay-at-home orders, and going about their lives with business, services, etc. operating as usual?
I heard Belarus isn't doing the social distancing either....
Belarus is in a precarious situation. As Lukashenko said a few days ago America prints money. Russia has vast reserves of funds and resources. China has wealth that is far beyond most countries in the world.
Belarus only has people power. If they stop working they will have nothing. Sure, others will step up to help, but nothing is free in this world.
I agree. It's better to die free and standing up that to live as a slave on your knees.
Seems to me a lockdown or quarantine in India makes no sense. They live in very crowded conditions and are very filthy just the way they normally are. But so far they have a very few deaths relative to population, one of the lowest in the world. Why? Something that should be investigated. Maybe sitting on your butt all day breathing in stale indoor air isn't healthy?
