Funny story from yesterday.
My three year old grandson asked me if 'ridiculous' was a bad word.
I told him no.
He said.....good, because that's what my mommy calls me all the time.

Started my 'Holiday' diet today. This is when I avoid sweets/muffins/pie/cake until the holidays. That way I don't gain so much when I indulge then.

Now that's a good idea! My hubby bakes cookies all season long and I love his cookies.
The wedding reception was a blast. I ate too much Mexican food. I ate too much cake. I managed to dance it off in a series of Mexican polkas. I was totally exhausted by the time I got home but I would not have missed it for the world.
It's just so wonderful to see a newly married couple who not only love each other but truly like each other, too.

I didn't know there was such a thing as the Mexican Polka.
OR...we could get ourselves one of these and just eat whatever we wanted.
I can't decide if she is an avocado that a rat attacked or a diseased pickle.....
We woke up to blue skies for the open house.....somebody was interested, but we'll 'see'...... I found a heads up penny, so maybe it was a good day... By the end of the day, it was cloudy and when we went to bed the ground was wet again..... Today, it misted in the a.m. but no rain later on.....this has been the weirdest October that we have ever had and I've been in S. Calif. for almost 35 years......
Somebody was interested 2 weeks ago, too.
Both parties are self-employed and make good money, (one guy is a psychiatrist, employs 20-25 people and is a professional court witness), but I learned 2 years ago that it is very hard to get a big loan when you are self employed, because they don't know if you will be making good money 'tomorrow'....
We saw that facebook movie........I forgot the name.........it's really good......boy, fast talking by the brainy guy!
