Wild hogs are dangerous. They are extremely destructive and have been known to kill people.

I bought a pack of the pee pads when we got Baxter and never even opened them. I can understand how some people have no choice but I was home all day. Granted I had just broken my arm but he was only a little over a pound. One he got the hang of it he was a natural. Now he takes after my Brusier and only pees about twice a but omg, when he goes, he goes!!

These are Feral Hogs and get at least 2-300 pounds if not bigger. I know we have some 300 pounders here. At least I have someone that wants the meat and is willing to take care of them for me. I kinda feel sorry for them. There have been around 5000 or so acres plowed up for homes over the years and they have no where else to go. My neighborhood is like an island surrounded by all the new construction. But do they have to come here? Lol

Wow, I dont think any of the feral hogs in several subdivisions here are as big as 300 pounds. Maybe 200 pounds, but there can be dozens of them out in a neighborhood at one time. I feel bad for them because the situation here is the same as yours, Camper -- the hogs were actually here first and then the builders came in. Hurricane Harvey really brought them out, although they've been a problem for years.

The cops dont get involved. If wild hogs are a problem on a property, it's up to the homeowner or the HOA to address the situation. Professional trappers are usually recommended, although some homeowners have shot them.

Here's a photo of some wild hogs running rampant in one subdivision just west of mine:

Didn't have as many kids this yr. as some yrs. - sadly, a group of kids came came and they were just grabbing instead of letting me give it out and then asking for more - just before that I was approached by a guy w/either drinking or mental issues (IMO) - and he kept telling me how "cute" I was - then he came back later when I was out on the porch asking about his lost phone - (it's a much longer story but I'll spare you) - anyway - YIKES! I spoke to a couple neighbors and they have my back - I also made neighbors take the stuff I had extra! LOL - Hope you all had a Happy Halloween.

YIKES is right, Flamingo! Stay safe!

Bad storms and tornadoes all day here -- 12 straight hours -- so no trick-or-treaters. But, then, we dont get them anyway, even in good weather. There are parties at the HOA clubhouse and at one of the elementary schools.

It started raining hard here around 5:00 pm and has not stopped yet. So, no little goblins stopped by for candy. Plus, it's cold. 63°. Alert the press! ahahahahahaha!
