We are right behind China in terms of value of exports, aka stuff we manufacture, despite the huge population gap. Germany is the real powerhouse per capita, but we are still very strong. Sorry brah, but Barbara is correct.

Actually this graph is most relevant, since it doesn't really matter if manufacture goods for export or something else, so long as we have something to sell.
It sure is as it shows Globalization and us not racing to the bottom to produce a lot of manufacturing jobs at the expense of our environment and standard of living.

Yes, and technically high-end, but nowhere near as large as either China or the US.

If you want to look at how important manufacturing is to a county's economy, what one would be more relevant?

I'm not.discounting the importance of manufacturing or the loss of manufacturing. However, when you look at your link, a quick glance at the top countries you left out in your post shows your data isn't very apples to apples.

Who in the world would give a fig about such a thing? I'll tell you who. Someone who is desperately trying to tun away from all the actually relevant points that have been decisively won by some other person who knows much more about the actual situation than he does.

You're just flopping around here like a fish out of water. It's getting pitiful. Just give it up and let it go.
