Ageism, my a**. Realism is more like it. I have friends who are in their 70s. They are healthy, smart, and active. None of them have the energy (mental or physical) for the 24/7 job that is the Presidency. Paul is not a superman -and he is too OLD to be a first time POTUS.

If there is, indeed, a significant percentage of Paul supporters under the age of 35, it is only because the idealism and endless energy of youth is blind to the limitations of advancing age.

I am embarrassed to say Pawlenty and Bachmann are from my state and it will be a cold day in hell either one get's my vote. They are both hypocrites. I said my peace.

Yes and even by the MEDIA's standards he is. It will be interesting to see now that he has the numbers whether they give him any more RESPECT -- especially jerks like Limbaugh and Savage and O'Reilly.

Mainstream neocons love Rand, but hate Ron for some reason that I have yet to figure out.

Anyway, I just wanted to point out the fact that in order to enter Bachmann's tent (and go to her Randy Travis concert, who Iowans LOVE), you were forced to vote for her in the straw poll. She practically bought her victory tonight.

Now that is just damn funny right there..Disrespectful to our current president? How about Obama & Libs bringing up, and blaming ex presidents from the last 200 years.

It all comes down to the right. Will they disobey their fox news/beck/limbaugh propaganda outlets to support the constitution and Ron Paul, or will they just continue to obedienty obey and support a Bachmann or Pawlenty

Finally we agree on some of what you say. I consider the man to be too old for the job since I am just over 1 year older than he is.

One thing that we must look at this time around is that those under 30 will not flock to the polls for either party, especially the Democrats. Lets just watch the Obama speeches once he really starts to campaign and see if we see all those young women screaming and fainting all over the place. they didn't get what they thought they would get and they won't be back.

I hope before you say your piece again you manage to realize that you may have to vote for one of them or Obama, instead.
