Bachman's on Meet the Press right now and her old comments are starting to catch up with her. She has no chance at the presidency, the Republican Party would be insanely stupid to let her bring any delegates to the convention.

Bachmann just had more money to bus in supporters. 200-300 more than Paul. Incidentally, the only people who give a rats a$$ about this poll, is the Media.

The 16K+ turnout should be the most concerning aspect for the Democrats. That cannot be interpreted in any other way than to indicate Iowa is going red in 2012. Unless something dramatically changes before then.

One thing that we must look at this time around is that those under 30 will not flock to the polls for either party, especially the Democrats. Lets just watch the Obama speeches once he really starts to campaign and see if we see all those young women screaming and fainting all over the place. they didn't get what they thought they would get and they won't be back.
Wonder of wonders, I agree with most of this paragraph! Contrary to what you may believe you remember, Obama was not my candidate of choice. However, given the Repub candidates that have so far surfaced, he will most likely get my vote again.

She spent 10 times as much as Paul did they said on the News shows this AM and that got her 150 extra votes.

It just goes to show what other candidates will need to spend to trump Ron Paul's message.

I must say, I think Bachman has a weak answer on where she would cut spending. Why doesn't she say she'd bring the troops home? Instead she says entitlements. Ron Paul would not cut entitlements right away.

The only candidate to win the Ames straw poll and go on to become President was G.W. Bush.
I'm hoping that was a fluke and tradition prevails.

I agree. Also in true tea party fashion Bachmann had to bus in and bribe supporters.
Not only did she bus them in, she paid for their tickets and gave them free food to get the votes. Good ol' cronyism at it's finest

I will vote for Obama again. No matter what cuz I am a die hard democrat. Bush left our current president with a HUGE debt. Can't argue that fact right? I don't blame republican's from the last 200 year's but I can blame them for a lot. The only reason Reagan won the presidency is because he was a movie star. BIG deal!!! If you recall the only state he did not win was my state Minnesota. My 2 cents.

And, you don't get any change, because that
statement surely does not make any sense

Besides screeching "I/we hate Obama" and "Smaller Government for Everyone But Me"..

..what EXACTLY has Bachmann DONE ?

She tried to suck Bush's face

Told Minnesotans to be armed and dangerous

Call for McCarthy-esque investiagtions of members of Congress

Is a doormat for her husband

What????

Oh ya, she's trying to get a bridge across a river...

What PLAN does she have for creating jobs? Lower taxes for the Uber-Wealthy like Bush did ....that didn't create jobs.....

Does she have ANY concrete ideas/suggestions with details/Plans??? Platforms???
