Anyway... what makes you think I don't pay an excessive share of taxes that pay for roads?
Why not? Do the trucks delivering the groceries she buys to the store, etc., not use the same roads?
Because working class people do not pay the full cost of public roads, and you said yourself that you are a working class person. You MUST advocate 100% privately funded roads and toll booths on every road in America, if you are true to your words and want a truly regressive system.

You are aware that working people can earn in excess of $1 million, no? Just look at media or sports. There are other workers, likewise, who also earn a lot.

Not true. Scandinavian and European countries have both public roads and REGRESSIVE tax systems. And better and more social and safety net program benefits, to boot.
The U.S. with our progressive tax system is clearly taxing wrong. We need to switch to a regressive tax system.
Not irrelevant. Those public employee pensions were saved by the bailouts and QE. Not my choice, but that's what happened.
They weren't "saved". They were going nowhere. You say you didn't support but you have this odd idea that Wall Street should be "saved" from losses. That's not how it's supposed to work.
