You just support policies that do. Besides, who you voted for would have done the same.

No, I don't. I was against the bailouts and QE. The chips should have fallen where they may have. Also against ZIRP.

You sure do go out of your way to defend what you say you were against.

You should build your own roads to drive on.

There was an article I read - and I can't remember where it was so don't ask me to link - that questioned whether those supporting a socialist society here in the US were racist as they always talk about how wonderful the white socialist countries are doing so well. They tend to not look at the fact that countries where much of the population is Asian, black or hispanic are not doing so well under the Socialist party. China is dabbling now in the Free Market. Venezuela and Chili now have a black market for toilet paper and even advise tourists to bring your own. While many socialist countries are trying to break free from socialism - we have many in this country who are either drinking the Kool Aid or are uninformed of other socialist countries and their problems.

No, I don't. I have only merely made the correct observation that all those steps were taken to protect and preserve the $24 Trillion John and Jane America have invested in their pension funds and retirement accounts. Don't think for a minute that the federal government doesn't know they'd be overthrown in a heartbeat if they allowed millions of working class Americans' pension funds and retirement accounts to be devalued to zero.

When you get around to writing your sci fi novel, make sure to make that one of the chapters.

Are you saying millions of John and Jane Americans would have no problem if their pension funds and retirement accounts were devalued to zero? Cite your source stating millions of people are OK with that.

For example, I just had a conversation yesterday with a Bernie Sanders supporter who was talking about how Wall Street needs to be taken down. I told him I started with very little in the stock market and have been growing my account very nicely. Literally every person I know who had a nice retirement got it from the stock market using strategies any person can use. You can buy a balanced mutual fund with some stocks and bonds and add to it each year whatever you can whether it is $1,000 or $10,000. Your investment will compound year after year and within 30 years, you're looking at a huge retirement. However, the guy I was speaking with said, he would never invest anything in the market whether it's bonds, mutual funds, stocks, even if he was offered a 401k. Someone like this will never be able to build a nice retirement and it isn't the system's fault, it's his own stubbornness and lack of knowledge.

Seriously, are all Sanders supporters like this?
Bernie is the last one that anyone with money would support.
