there will be a lot of surprises in 2016.
You do realize that the total share of non-Hispanic white voters has been falling unabated since 1992, I assume?

Every election for the past 24 years there have progressively been fewer of them to turn out. All of that loss is coming out on non-college, n/h whites (losing 3% of total votes cast on average every 4 year Presidential cycle).

2014- 75%
2012- 72%
2010- 77%
2008- 74%
2006- 79%
2004- 77%
2002- 81%
2000- 81%
1998- 82%
1996- 83%
1994- 86%
1992- 87%

Off -year only Presidential only

2014- 75% 2012-72%
2010- 77% 2008-74%
2006- 79% 2004-77%
2002- 81% 2000-81%
1998- 83%. 1996-83%
1994- 86% 1992-87%

Also, the decline in voters was in states that weren't contestable. In the states where the bulk of television ad $ were spent, I believe turnout actually increased over 2008. States I'm thinking of were Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Nevada and Virginia, which received about 75% of total television investment by both campaigns.

Not sure how anyone is snubbing white America, either.

I don't care if Trump disavowed him or not. Duke supports Trump for a reason: his blatant racism.

What "blatant racism" are you yammering about?

Why should he denounce the KKK? He's not obligated to do that. Maybe he's got nothing against the KKK or David Duke. What would his denunciation do anyway and what difference does it make?

He has every right to appeal to the sympathizers of white extremist groups or to the groups themselves.

Of course the anti-Trumps have double standards.

The orange doesn't fall far from the tree. Trump's dad was a protestant Klansman and arrested at a Klan rally brawling with the mainly Catholic/Irish police.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...d=ss_tw-bottom.

On Memorial Day 1927, brawls erupted in New York led by sympathizers of the Italian fascist movement and the Ku Klux Klan. In the fascist brawl, which took place in the Bronx, two Italian men were killed by anti-fascists. In Queens, 1,000 white-robed Klansmen marched through the Jamaica neighborhood, eventually spurring an all-out brawl in which seven men were arrested.... all of whom were represented by the same lawyers.

One of those arrested was Fred Trump of 175-24 Devonshire Rd. in Jamaica.

I also don't recall Jake Tapper (or anyone else) cornering Obama when the New Black Panthers endorsed him.

The left really think they're onto something here; they're not.

So you think racism is inherited? Whom is Trump supposedly racist against? My wife's father was an alcoholic yet she never touches the stuff simply for that reason. Kids can be influenced by their parents or they can learn not to be like them.

People often see what it is they want to see. Folks may not like him and that's their choice but spinning him into a racist, male chauvinist, isn't really fair. Just because Hilary is using that doesn't mean you have too. It's all just political bs. They've just dug the pit and get into the fight. Both side are just people, trying to win a race. That's all it is. No monsters I promise.

Racist is the C word. People are just letting it fly right and left. You don't have to actually be one.
