Oh, come on. That's ridiculous. Obama doesn't have anything to lose - he's done in January either way. The only thing that matters to him now is getting Hillary into office to carry on what he started and keep that idiot Trump from unraveling it. He'll do whatever it takes to make that happen.
In that case he should have no problem campaigning with HC this week.

I'm not a Democrat, but I've thought for some time now that that's the best possible outcome. Keep Mussolini from winning the election, and then either drop dead or go straight to jail the next day. Let Kaine take over, and start gearing up for 2020, with a decent candidate for a change.

I'm not necessarily a huge Trump supporter but I don't want a Dem picking the next two possibly three USSC justices. Therefore I am voting Trump.
Barack Obama did not set the rules and neither did Loretta Lynch. It seems to me as if everyone who wants Clinton to lose has selected reading habits. The DOJ has had a longstanding practice of not commenting on ongoing investigations. Also 60 days before an election, taking such action is usually ill-advised if that action could influence the outcome. He sent the letter to Congress only 11 days before Election Day!
And Lynch should never have met with Bill on the plane either. Besides what was Comey supposed to do? Bring this up after the election?
HC has nobody to blame for this mess but herself. And if it costs her the election so be it. The same with Trump.
Both have had amply time to get it together and the last one who doesn't trip over their own baggage will be the winner.

Actually, the next 3 and possibly 4 - whomever is elected next week will replace Scalia first of all, then Ginsberg and Kennedy for sure, and probably Breyer. I'm not crazy about Hillary having that much of an impact on the future of our country, but - as with everything else this year - I figure that as awful as it is, it's still better than Trump.
